What do I get when I buy an audio tour?
After a successful payment, you’re automatically logged in on www.filmed-on-location.com with the email address you provided – and you’ll get access to the audio tour.
The tour includes 11 locations in Vienna and is available for 30 days.
You can only use it on one device at a time. So if you switch devices – for example, from your laptop to your phone – you’ll just need to log in again.
You can log in as many times as you want during the 30-day period.
This is a self-guided audio tour – there’s no live guide.
What do I need to listen to an audio tour?
To listen to the audio tour on the go, you’ll need a smartphone or tablet with internet access.
For the best audio experience, we recommend using headphones.
Keep in mind: if you’re traveling abroad, your mobile provider may charge roaming fees depending on your data plan.
How do I start a booked audio tour?
After your payment is successful, you’ll get access to the audio tour on www.filmed-on-location.com.
Click on the link that says “Go to Audio Tour.” On the overview page, you’ll see all the different locations and films – just tap on any of them to start listening to the audio files.
How long does an audio tour last?
The total length of the audio recordings is over 70 minutes.
Seven locations are right in the city center. Another five are about 10–15 minutes away from the center and close to public transport.
For the city center locations, plan about 2 hours. Including walking time, the whole tour can take up to 3½ hours.
You can take breaks whenever you want — it’s up to you whether you do the tour all at once or spread it out over several hours or days.
The tour is also great to do by bike.
How can I book an audio tour in advance, and which payment methods are accepted?
You can book the audio tour anytime on our website. Please note that your access is valid for 30 days from the date of payment.

How long and how often can I use a booked audio tour?
Your access is valid for 30 days. During this time, you can start and pause the audio tour as often as you like.
However, the access can only be active on one device at a time.
Can I change the language?
Yes, you can change the language setting on the website at any time, and the language of the audio tour will change accordingly.
Can I pause an audio tour?
Yes! During the 30 days your access to the audio tour is active, you decide how long you want to take. A coffee and a slice of Sachertorte definitely fit in as a break!
How many people can use the audio tour at the same time?
You can do the audio tour alone or in a group. Payment is per person. Each purchase allows the tour to be played on one device.
Is the audio tour kid-friendly and accessible?
We recommend the audio tour content for ages 14 and up, matching the age ratings of the films.
All public places featured in the audio tour are wheelchair accessible.
All locations can be reached easily using Vienna’s public transport system.
Can I try the audio tour for free?
Yes! The Zollamtssteg location is available for free. Unfortunately, the other locations cannot be tested for free.
Do I need to know the area to find the locations?
The addresses of all locations are linked with Google Maps on the website. This way, you can easily and conveniently get from one spot to the next.
Do I get a refund if the weather is bad? Can I cancel my purchase?
No, cancellation of the purchase is unfortunately not possible. By buying, you waive your right of withdrawal.
The tour is available in any weather and can be started immediately after purchase.
